What is therapy like? How might I prepare?
This might be the best place to emphasize the individuality of the therapeutic process, and that there's no one-size-fits-all approach. Each person's journey is unique, shaped by their experiences, needs, and goals. As a potential client, I encourage you to come as you are. I am here with non-judgmental, unconditional positive regard. It is your time and space. I am here to hold space for you, to see you and to hear you.
Preparation is not necessary; being open-minded and ready to engage honestly does matter. As with any commitment, the amount of effort and insight you are willing to invest will make a difference. Our alliance will help you develop courage to explore thoughts and feelings at your own pace and potential.
Cost per session and forms of payment accepted?
Session fee and frequency are discussed in initial intake session. I offer a very limited number of sliding scale slots to accommodate those who may find my full fees inaccessible. Payment can be made via Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, and ACH direct transfers at the time of your appointment.
Length of sessions:
Individual therapy sessions last 45 minutes. Clients are seen weekly, with an option to explore adding additional days for more intensive treatment.
Do you accept insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider and can supply monthly receipts for reimbursement. Many PPO plans may partially cover therapy expenses. I can assist in walking you through the process.
Cancellation policy: Please be aware that a 24-hour cancellation notice is required (pending emergency), otherwise, a fee will be assessed prior to your next scheduled appointment.
